Dr. Raghda Elbahy

International Relations Expert

Dr. Raghda Elbahy serves as an International Relations Expert at NAWA, specializing in regional security, strategic studies, and geopolitical risk analysis. She combines academic research with applied policy assessment across Middle East security dynamics.

She holds both an MA and a PhD in International Relations and serves as Assistant Professor of Political Science at Cairo University’s Faculty of Economics and Political Science, in addition to her academic affiliation with the Institute of Arab Research and Studies. Her research has been recognized through Egypt’s State Encouragement Award and Cairo University’s award for international publishing.

Dr. Elbahy has authored dozens of peer-reviewed studies and produced hundreds of analytical reports and strategic assessments addressing power balances, conflict transformation, and regional security developments. She regularly participates in conferences, delivers lectures to governmental and academic institutions, and serves as a certified reviewer for scientific journals.

Her research interests focus on shifting regional alignments, strategic competition, and policy adaptation in transitional environments.

At NAWA, she contributes to geopolitical analysis, early-warning frameworks, and strategic assessments designed to inform evidence-based institutional and policy responses.
