Vintage cigarette case by Mayell, stainless steel or chrome-plated item from the 1940s or 1950s made in England. It features an etched map of Canada, detailed down to the provinces, territories, and major cities. The design includes a maple leaf emblem on the upper right corner. While originally intended for cigarettes, these items are frequently used today to hold business cards or credit cards. There is a light gold tone tinge near the Etched maple leaf. Antique Handpainted Porcelain One Piece Cigarette Holder Ashtray Matchbox

This is an unusual piece and although it has one repair, still very collectible. It is a porcelain handpainted smoking piece: the center holds the cigarettes or cigars, one side is an ashtray, and the other side holds a square matchbook and has a match striker on the side. I believe this to be German but it is NOT marked. It is handpainted shades of pine green leaves, pink flowers, and adorned in gold around the rims. and front and back. The inside is a brushed pale green. There is a very clean repair to the ash tray (see photos 7 and 8 for clear photos of interior/exterior of repair). Because this is such an unusual item and the repair is so clean and hard to notice, I don’t believe it detracts from the importance of this piece. It is approximately 7 1/2″ wide and about 5 1/2″ tall at the highest point of the cigarette holder. The cigarette holder opening is 3 3/4″, the ashtray opens to 2 1/2″. It weighs 1.2 pounds and would be a great addition to a collector of cigarette/cigar/tobacco memorabilia. Sold AS IS.
