This Irish Porcelain Jar is in original shape. Purchased in 1973 at Kelly’s Irish Imports on St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Used as a cookie jar and stash, it is also sold as a humidor. The jar has its original rubber gasket, and two of the locking pins for the lid, which locks securely as is. A new pin could be fashioned quite easily. It has three felt pads on the bottom to keep it from possibly scratching any wood surfaces.
