Vintage Coco Joe’s of Hawaii Tiki Table Lava Lighter Mid Century Hawaiian Bar Decor Chrome Top NOTE: The lighter isn’t lighting on its own, but will hold a flame if you light it from another source. Something with the striker wheel is malfunctioning. Production Era: The company, Coco Joe’s of Hawaii, operated from the 1950s/1960s through the 1980s. Primary Factory: Originally based in Punaluu (or Hauula) on the island of Oahu, the factory was later moved to Kaneohe in 1963. Materials: These lighters were crafted using pulverized volcanic lava mixed with polyester resin, often referred to by the brand as "Legends in Lava".
