This gorgeous natural pipe is made up with Sappan Wood (stem) and Tagua seed (chamber) sustainably sourced in Colombia. It’s a Fair Trade product ethically handmade by Colombian artisans (we are proud members of the Fair Trade Federation). Portable, practical, and uncommon, can be used with or without the provided screen for added versatility. Makes the perfect gift. The pipe measures 2.5” in length by 0.5” in diameter. •Handmade and Fairtrade product •Metallic screen included (can be used with or without) •Material: Tagua seeds (vegetable ivory) + Sappan wood •Naturally eco-friendly and biodegradable •Makes the perfect gift, thoughtful and unique When ripe, tagua seeds are harvested and sun-dried for 6 to 9 months. After losing all their moisture they become rock solid resembling ivory in color, texture, and hardness, hence their nickname: “Vegetable Ivory”. At this point, the hard seeds can be polished, cut, and shaped into wares for Florama's natural collection.
