Peterson Pipe PPP System Rustic 307FT / 150 mm / 50 mm / Bore 22 mm / 9 mm

The PPP series is the classic that gave Peterson his absolute breakthrough. There are two patents here. Tom Palmer went into his well-deserved retirement and the American company Laudisi took over. The owner, Sykes Wilford, is also the world’s largest Peterson customer. Good move! He and his team are absolute pipe freaks. Real nerds, but in the most positive sense. They love pipes, they have a huge amount of know-how and are well connected. PETERSON Pipe Spigot Rustic 307PL / Silver / 150 Mm / 50 Mm / 22 Mm / 9 Mm

Peterson is famous for his intricate silver work. The sterling applications are made by hand and individually adapted to each pipe. A task that was both technically and artistically demanding for the two silversmiths Jason Hinch and Simon Ellard. Under Irish law, the precious metals gold, silver and platinum are subject to a purity test by the Assay Office located in Dublin Castle before they are released for sale. This is done using three hallmarks: – The symbol of Hibernia (Queen on Throne), which identifies Ireland as the place of origin. – The authenticity of the sterling silver is confirmed by a crowned harp. – An annually changing letter that can be used to determine when the silver was released. The last-mentioned hallmark offers an excellent opportunity to determine the year of man.
